*She needed cover. But who would bring her in? Who wouldn't grow suspicious of her need of a dark damp cellar? But. . .the sun. She had less then 4 hours. Where would she go? What would she do? The sun would toast her, and who knew if she'd even die? But only writhe in agony for hours until it decided to set in the evening. She dodged into the shadows as people passed, listening to their conversations. Lovers, milkmaids, laundresses. Many passed her even in these wee hours of the morning.*

*she bought enough leather to make a shirt and skirt, but also bought boots and wrist guards with an embroiderment on it. She smiled and walked back out and to the tailor, deciding she wanted these done today. She kept her face hidden from most of the villagers, knowing that the men would recognize her and wonder for a moment only before killing her. At the tailors she had the skirt and top made, changing into them there. She pulled on the boots and asked the Tailor to box her old dress. When she had put on the boots and guards, she took the box and walked to the weaponry shop, buying a custom made (hush, this is really taking her hours, but I'm posting it all at once) bow that she had requested earlier in the day. She smiled with her new found provisions and walked back to the forest to begina new life*
