George Clooney Reading Coens' Next
Reuniting with Intolerable filmmakers.

October 23, 2006 - The star and filmmakers of O Brother, Where Art Thou? are preparing to reunite. George Clooney will reportedly star in Burn After Reading for Joel Coen and Ethan Coen. Clooney and the Coens last reteamed for Intolerable Cruelty.

Clooney would reportedly play a killer in the project, according to ProductionWeekly.com. The pic is said to be based on the book Burn Before Reading: Presidents, CIA Directors, and Secret Intelligence.

The book was penned by Admiral Stansfield Turner, who was director of the CIA during the Carter administration.

The site claims that "the contemporary East Coast caper is about a C.I.A. guy who's writing a book and he loses the disc. Clooney's character is not the C.I.A. guy, but a guy that goes around killing people."

Burn After Reading is slated to lens next August.
