Hi Maria,
Don't worry about your English--I got the drift well enough and I think everyone else will, too; it's a sweet letter and story.
You mentioned you make "Christmas bread"--what exactly is that, and how do you make it? It sounds wonderful... Is this a longstanding tradition? I'm curious! (Tell us how that works out, sending one of your breads to GC at Oleandra; I'd love to know what happens.)
To be honest Maria, I'm really sort of dreading the coming holidays. I've lost so many family members in recent years that for me Christmas and New Year celebrations have become at best bittersweet. I want to enjoy this time of year as I once did, but it's hard and only seems to get harder.
I hope all is well with you; it seems to be, you sound so happy--I liked reading your thoughts about how you love the holidays.
