Elantre 1073,

I agree on all counts, and if only you had joined us at this forum earlier, you would have heard (I mean "read") me go on and on about that subject-- and those movies. Just ask Angel! :-)

I own the special edition DVD of "Out Of Sight" and it's wonderful. I watch the movie every so often just to see that beautiful seduction montage again (when Jack finally tracks Karen down at her Detroit hotel and they meet up in the hotel bar). Oh, and also I love the playful back and forth scene earlier on where Jack calls Karen and teases her as her father gives her hapless married boyfriend Ray (Michael Keaton) a hard time.

Plus there are fun DVD extras--out-takes, playful interviews and entertaining behind-the-scenes stuff (George joking around with some Miami retirees about his "Sexiest Man Alive" status, for example).

And "One Fine Day"--that absolutely smoking smooch he gives Michelle Pfeiffer near the very end of the movie, before she rushes to the bathroom and takes forever to make herself "sexy." (Yeah. Right. As if Michelle Pfeiffer needed to do that.)

I agree--GC can do it all, though I think I love him best in his screwball comedy roles. (Check out his zaniness in "Intolerable Cruelty" and the superior "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" if you haven't already.)
