    Why do people stay in relationships that they are unhappy with?

    Ever since the beginning of time man has sought to be in control of others- in their own selfish quest for fulfillment and joy. Those who believe they can control or change another human being by utilizing borders, or by using so called help institutions are ignorant, selfish, and blind to human nature, and can not be true to themselves.

    You know what's right
    I know what's wrong
    The question is
    Why have you been around so long?
    These games I've played,
    And women I've laid
    You've come back
    Saying you've been betrayed
    The problem is- you come back

    Yeah, it's emotions I lack
    When I'm on the wrong track
    Maybe I'd change
    If you'd let open you're cage
    Move on in this stage
    And find someone who cares
    Although, I doubt you can find anyone
    Who compares
    To me

    I have that much control
    And when your down on your knees
    I could take your soul
    Mind and being
    Everyone is seeing
    What a dick I've been,
    But you're not leaving

    Let's face facts
    You can't change me
    If you feel there's something I lack

    I've got one on the side
    And even if I've lied
    You'd come back to me

    Many people, unfortunately, suffer form an illness called drug addiction. This nightmare is brought upon those who make the unwise decision to fuck up their lives. When these people want to bring others into their nightmare- that's where the real crime begins. A friend, lover, or family member can not change this individual. It is up to him, and him alone to make the decision to end this nightmare.

    You can't deal with the nightmare?
    Become aware
    I've been using these excuses
    To keep you here

    I'm lost in a sea of deception and greed

    Well, when I feel I'm losing
    I run for cover
    Hell, I've designed this situation
    Where I can never be sober
    I look for ways to keep you here
    Even if these ways cause you worry and fear
    I hide behind a word called love
    I say I'm seeking help from above
    I say a lot of things
    And it's everything you've heard
    Consider one thing
