The Christmas season
Is love without reason,
Unnattural love in our souls
Makes us less than whole.
They say hope springs eternal
In the son of eternity,
But the son on the throne
Is no comfort to those all alone
In house,heart and hope,
How are we to cope
With this rich christmas fair
and no money to spare?
The presence of the son
Wont buy presents for everyone,
Nor put food on the table
Of those less than able.
So have a thought for the poor
As you eat all the more,
When the turkeys getting fat
Please spare a thought for the lonely mans lot.
