Fight the Light
We walk and talk
And drive and fuck
And screw the streets
and run amuck
and see the day's we used to love
and teach the kids to kill the dove
We're fighting in the deepest pit
And holding with the weakest grip
And trying not to run at all
While hoping for the others fall
We'll never pass a judgement here
If all we do is commandeer

We never see what's really there
We're grabbing hold the lightest air.
When we should have the deepest night

The answers now are never clear
And growing fast is all our fears.

The death that always came to fast
Is what is holding up the glass
and never will we understand
that this will be the end of man
