Subject: Inner Peace
My vision for the future,
Forever looking for a place,
My sins I see but can't condone,
To curse the human race,
The world cries out in agony,
Our hopes are turning sour,
Even if we took the bombs away,
We could never take the power.
Our hope for the future,
It lies within our past,
The millions who have died for it,
Kept on searching to the last.
You wont find it in anger,
You wont find it in hate,
You wont find it in paradise,
For that you'll have to wait,
No everything you look for,
Is in doing good to fellow man,
If we want to save the world,
We must do it all we can,
So learn to love your neighbour,
Then at the very least,
Even if the whole world hated you,
You'll still have inner peace.
