Subject: The End of a Dream
Living my life in a drinking dream
Got visions in my head
Where nothings what it seems
A good day or a bad one
It really doesnt matter
Cos it all looks the same
Through the bottom of a bottle
So its cold gin time again
Just a little something
To put an end to the pain
The pain in my head
That just wont go away
Until Im finally dead
Or well on the way
Now I'm living on the edge
And its the best place to view
The depth of the hell
I've been digging my way to
So crawling back from the pit
Was the best thing I did
Only took up the bottle one more time
Just to replace the lid
So now its all over
Its all very clear
It wasnt a dream I was living
It was a living nightmare.
