Aeon pauses to tie his shimmering black stallion, Dischord, outside before coming into the tavern. He seats himself in a shadowed corner, away from all people and light. Glancing around nervously, Aeon pulls a small, golden locket out from his shirt, smiling meekly at the engraved music note. A worried conversation with himself is suddenly disrupted by the sorrowful but sweet call of the harp, causing a shudder of anguish to ripple through his body and soul. Clinging to the locket as if it were his life, Aeon closes his eyes and hears only the music. The soft strains of heartbreak and great sadness in his head pierce through the noises of the tavern and beckon him to join in its forlorn melody. Clasping his head in both hands, he manages to squeak out in a voice hovering on the edge of madness, "...The music is back..."
