Steve will be undoubtedly welcomed back w/ Open Arms (had to do it... come on).

The average "american fan" who is/was interested in Journey cares about the music, not all the behind the scenes gossiping that hits the web sites. Good Example: If you put it in perspective, the "Official Journey Fan Site" has what, 4000 members, of which, how many actually post? Take a look at a concert in any large city. What population of those people are on that mailing list? And of them, how many post? ( I shoulda been an attorney....)

The rest could care less on who did what to whom. They are there for the music and magic Steve Perry brings. Period.

Nationwide, he's going to be fabulous, like he was then and is now. Cause to be honest, the "real world" could care less about the backstage kaka. They will just be glad, as I will, to have him back where he belongs.

Sure there will be some with their stockings in a knot. But the vast majority will be there for him.
