Subject: Things kids say.

I have the pleasure in my job as librarian to read aloud to a kindgergarten class at the local grade school where I live and today I went there to read aloud a Thanksgiving story this afternoon called "Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving." Almost the same as Twas the Night Before Christmas" except the teacher in the story takes the children to a turkey farm to see the turkey's. The children in the story hear a grim tale of dread for the turkey's. Farmer McNugget will get them ready to be Thanksgiving dinners. With that the children at the farm start to cry. The teacher and the farmer go to get the children some water to drink to calm them down. When they get back the children have put the turkey's under their shirts to try and take them home. What was funny about this was a kindergarten child said, "yuke! I wouldn't put that turkey under my shirt. No way." The teacher asked him why he would not do that and his response was "That turkey walked around all over the farm and could get animal pooh on my good shirt." The other kids in the class said Jon said pooh, tehe. Made me and the teacher laugh. Just wanted to share. Perry On!
