Subject: Lame Poetry

Well I woke up with a ticklish type of thought today and had to write it down, this is what I ended up with and I thought I would share it. It's meant in fun so please don't take offense.



I think that God forgot something-
and it's really quite surprising!
He's usually very thorough
But there's something I've been realizing

Don't get me wrong-
he's done a really fine job,
but of my life's true love-
I think I have been robbed!

There is that special someone
Who sings to me so sweet,
But I think that God forgot-
To fall in love- first you have to meet!

I just know this was an oversight,
and soon will be corrected!
He'll do a little twist of fate
and our lives will be re-directed!

But until this is noticed
and someone tells my Lord,
I have to write bad poetry
and post it on this board!
