I for one believe that Steve thought of the group as a family. But there are things that the other members should have done and did not. They should have helped Steve during his difficult time during the ROR time when his mother was very sick. They also should have been there for him when he need hip replacement surgery. They should have waited for him to recover. Steve Perry needed to retreat back into his own life and that's what he has done. The band should have respected that. Steve leaving during the ROR tour he had to in order to get well and deal with life. Taking care of his father dealing with the loss of his mother. Getting over bronchitits and asmatic bronchitis and probably other things too. Steve Perry is the greatest. One class act. I wish him love and luck in whatever he decides to do with his life. I do hope Steve comes back soon with something new for us to hear. As for not being married or having kids. We'll sometimes that's what life has for you, but if Steve's looking...he can call me I'm looking for him too! (ha!) What a handsome guy!! That's all I can say. Listening to the song "Anyway" sorta clears up his feelings on the group. What a song. What a classy guy. Only Steve could say it so very elegantly. Perry On!!
