Oh, the Grand Canyon.. did you go to the North or South Rim?
Up until a few years ago, I had never been. (A sin, since I'm so close) Never thought it would hold much interest as I have terrible vertigo.. not going to hike down in, won't go near the rim.. what would be the use? But, finally went, thank goodness! Such peace there. We had a late dinner one night and was walking back to our room and the sky was *Black* not light blue, but black.. the stars were so bright and the silence was awe inspiring! Then I spotted a deer on the grass. A real deer. A Bambi moment. So exciting! Such a city girl!
I'm sorry, didn't mean to rattle on like that.. how was your trip? What did you do? Fill us in.. and glad you're back safe!
