I don't know too much about current music, but I am a relic who has complete album collections of journey, styx, kansas, queen, boston...all those 80s bands.
As far as singer goes, Dan Fogelberg is another cutie pie who has written and performed some of the most beautiful romantic music. His divorce album EXILES came out just as my fiance and I broke up in the 80's. Dan and I spent a lot of time together during that time! I would love to hear from him again as well,and he tours, but mostly on the west coast.
