It was recently brought to my attention that there are no forum rules here and that the expectation was unfair without proper identification of what is considered to be a line. That person is absolutely right, and I apologize and I thank you for addressing this with me. And while there has never been a need for anything formal, parameters and clarification are simply a matter of respect and honest, open communication.. again I apologize.. this is a bit overdue.

These are not meant in any way to be controlling and/or to squelch anyone’s fun, they are simply a benchmark that speaks to the integrity of this gathering, because never have I enjoyed a finer group of people than the company that is kept here.

The following, if broken down, simply mean.. respect Steve Perry, respect yourselves, and respect each other:

Forum Rules
1. Nothing for sale that is not authorized and endorsed by Steve Perry can be advertised in your post.
2. The promoting of sites/individuals that trade/sell or in any other way exploit Steve Perry's image is not allowed.
3. No negative comments or "public slamming" of specific individuals will be tolerated.
4. Please do not use profanity in your post.
5. Posts that regard Steve Perry are subject to careful scrutiny. Please respect Steve's privacy by not asking or making personal statements.
6. Negative criticism posts are also carefully monitored. Logical debates and thoughtful responses are encouraged as we enjoy healthy discussion.

And finally,

7. This board is meant to be a fun, positive place to share ideas and thoughts. If the above principles are respected, fun is inevitable!

As you see.. we are already doing all of these.. (especially #7!), but as we continue to grow it is important to address it, again simply as a matter of consideration for all who meet here.
