You know, I realized, I didn't answer your question.
I first saw When You Love a Woman on VH1, when it first came out. Like everyone else on the fringes of Journey fandom, hadn't heard a peep out of them in years. Had no idea why. Then saw the video. Loved the song, remember saying "Wow, Steve's hair is really loooong!" Didn't see him again until BTM. And I swear, I could have met him face to face, had a discussion with him and never recognized him.
