I'm glad everyone is speaking their minds and still being "nice" about it. I'm just a die-hard Journey with Steve Perry fan and have been for so long that I refuse to say never again. Journey and Steve have never ceased to surprise me about disappearing and popping up again just when you think you've heard the last of them.

I understand everyone's belief that Journey will never reunite and you have all brought up very valid, intelligent points. There are so many reasons for them not to, but there are also many reasons that they should. The music industry is a funny business. I remember when the Eagles said it would be a cold day in hell before they ever made music together again (very bad blood between the band members also) and they all went on to very successful solo careers. Then before we knew it they were out on tour again (hence the name of the tour 'Hell Freezes Over' LOL, I loved that) and now they're back in the studio recording.

Personally to me Journey will always be SP, NS, GR, RV, and SS (sorry AD but I only saw you during the Infinity tour and then you were gone so I didn't get attached). I think JC brought a new sound and new style of writing songs that I love, but GR was the one to pick his replacement and he choose him for that reason.

I guess the bottom line is we'll never know unless it does or doesn't happen. In the meantime, I'll hold onto my memories, enjoy the music they've made together in the past, watch all my concert videos, and keep praying that Steve will at least record solo again. His voice and songwriting talent is just to good to waste.

Well you've all read enough of my opinion(s) on this subject and it's nice to read everyone else's. A least we let Steve know that no matter what, he's loved and remembered by us all.
