Another thing I won't forget (especially since I took notes when I watched the BTM director's cut, so that I would make sure not to forget what they said ever), is how Steve said that the camera and the microphone would "feel his pain". In other words, I believe that he's so sensitive and understands that whatever he's feeling really and truly comes across to his fans through the music, etc. that he really gets those subtleties that no one else would.

This sounds kind of interesting, but I feel like Steve has always had his fans best interest at heart ever since he started with Journey and then on. He was interested in how the music was going to sound to the fans and not about the guys being in Herbie's family (which might have been prioritized over the music if it wasn't modified by Steve). I'm not saying that Steve was completely 100% right for that, but that he always had the fans in mind for giving us quality work of himself, etc.
