Thought I forgot, didn't you. Oh, no, I'm going to plow on.

For the Love of Strange Medicine
FTLOSM
Steve Perry

Very introspective song. Looking within yourself to reflect on basically selling your soul for insignificant things. Things that don't matter.
Rather dark lyrics if you listen to them, very much a lesson in life.
Reminds me of something I once read - enjoy the (not so) little things in life, a sunset; a good conversation; a beautiful flower; etc.. and always appreciate and enjoy your family and friends. I once asked my grandmother how she and grandpa met. She told me, and I've cherished that story all my life. My mother and her sisters never knew how they met. There are great stories in every family.
Well, I wondered off there, but you get the idea.
What are all your thoughts on the song?
