Subject: Steve's the GREATEST!

Just was on a new Steve Perry site and read the most wonderful fan story. It still sticks in my mind. That story made me feel so good inside. It was a story a fan sent in. She was working in a coffee shop in California. It was a few years after his mother died, maybe around 1988 or 1989?? Steve can into this coffee shop 3 days in a row and had coffee and lemon poppy seed cake and read a book on modern art. The person did not make a big deal about him being there, even though she knew who he was. Each time he check out she made sure she was at the register they chatted briefly and he left. On the 3rd and last time he came another employee was crying and telling this person that she needed $50 to go home and see her mom for the Christmas and because she spend alot of money on her college books for the next semester she would not be going home for X-mas. The teary eyed girl composed herself and went over to Steve's table to see if he wanted more coffee and he did. The great part is that Steve knew something was wrong and when he cashed up he asked that person what was wrong with the other person she told Steve her plight and Steve gave her a $50 bill and told her to tell that person that everyone should see their mother at Christmas. What a guy. That story just made my day and just shows how wonderful Steve Perry really is. If you want to read the whole story you can go to homestead.com/steveperrysvoice/ click on the star then scroll down click on Steve Stories then scroll down and click on Quiet Kindness. This story will make you warm with love for Steve. Perry On!
