I think Steve would've played a great Jack Dawson. Not necessarily putting Leo down. After watching the movie, I've found a few similarities between the two.

Steve Perry: Steve is too

Jack Dawson: Funny
Steve Perry: We all know that Steve has a great sense of humor

Jack Dawson: Kind
Steve Perry: After reading some of the articles on Steve, how can anyone think he isn't?

Steve Perry: Have you ever seen Steve do that little ditty
in "Chain Reation?" What girl wouldn't want to dance with this cutie?

Steve Perry: Ahem. I just couldn't leave that one off

Jack Dawson: Hero

The one part I don't think I'd wanna watch would be the ending. There just wouldn't be enough kleenex's.
