According to the linear notes in Greatest Hits + 5, Steve had recorded those songs (including Summer of Luv) for a second solo album called "Against the Wall". It was never released because of Sony problems. ~Ladies, if I'm wrong, correct me~
From what I understand, the songs were recorded in the late 80's, not recently.
