Subject: Definitely a Steve Perry Thing

FINALLY!!!! I just saw my first Essential commercial. I think maybe this way Steve is thinking of telling us he's still out there and maybe (hope, hope) preparing us... I actually called and ordered the CD's and they offered me (at a special discounted price) S.P. Greatest Hits + 5. So, I think this is more of a S.P. generated thing than a Journey generated thing. I read somewhere that S.P. has most of the rights to most of the songs and that when he left the band, they had to sign over some rights to him. So, maybe this really is Steve doing something for us.
