Hi Con!

It is good to hear from you again. Last night was the first time that I've been back on the computer and on this board. I did survive the visit, haha, it was really fun, we all even went to Alabama to visit my husbands other sister, we stayed from Saturday morning until Sunday afternoon. It was just us women, the guys stayed here and went fishing.
I did read a post last night from another german girl, she has the same name as my nephew's girlfriend in Germany, did you get in touch with her yet?
My daughter is in 11th grade this year, one more year after this one and she's finished with highschool, she'll go to college after that, at least for 2 years, because it is hard to find good jobs without a college degree.

Our favorite TV series is "My Wife & Kids", it comes on Wednesdays and it is sooo funny, we watched it last night. I like old shows like "I Love Lucy" too, or "Mr. Ed" the talking horse. I don't know if you know any of those shows, but "Mr Ed" used to come on in Germany when I was little.
School sure starts late in Germany, how long did you have summer vacation? Here they got out May 25th and went back to school August 12th. They don't have school this coming Monday either, it is a holiday, Labor Day.
Tschuess,Karin
Ps. I found a bunny you can make with your keyboard, it is cute
