Ok, it's taken me a while but here they are:

~I just love it when he sucks in his breath at "Oh" and the way he says "ya, ya, ya" Makes me into a puddle. And I think it's every Steve fan's dream to have him come up and say "I'd like to talk to you a while" ~oh yeah, baby.

What Was: I want so much to say, I love you more today, the hardest thing I ever had to say, goodbye.
~That just makes me tear up. He sounds so agonized and hurt. His voice in this song, just moves me..I hope and pray one day to hear it in concert.

Anyway: Oh how I remember, wounded but alive, Lost in my insanity, escaping to survive.
~I think this is straight from the heart. Trying to explain in song what he couldn't say in person to Journey. Zero love, Mr. Herbert, I don't think so!
