I have bought the Arrival CD when it came out in April, but I don't think of it as Journey. I listened to it a few times, but I can't bring myself to put it in my CD player anymore, it would feel like a betrayal to Steve Perry.
I would've liked the CD if they would've chosen a different name, but I can't listen to it under the name Journey, it just hurts to much. Journey is and always will be Steve Perry to me, and nobody will ever be able to fill his shoes.
It's like loosing a familymember, you could never replace them.
Could anybody imagine "Aerosmith" or "Rush" with a different singer?
