I do appreciate your thorough detective skills, must be the affect of the library on you. It sounds like something Uncle Joe might say but it also sounds a little embelished.
Personally if Uncle Joe wrote me back, I would keep it between the two of us because it was about Steve and I would hold that information very privately and confidentially out of respect for all parties.
