Interesting thread. I read John K's stuff on his website, and I thought it was refreshingly honest, with no malice toward the new line up or the old. But not everyone saw it that way! While I am proPerry and pro Essential collection
I can understand why the new line up fans would be upset. They are trying to launch the new guy. I keep hearing Neal's words in my head from BTM "get a couple of guys who want to work and MOVE ON" and I really wish he would have MOVED ON away from Journey. Named it something else. If he wanted to MOVE ON why did they get a guy who sounds like Perry (sort of) so they could play the old stuff. Then he is disappointed that ARRIVAL is not embraced, and the tour is about Greatest hits and not ARRIVAL tunes. What did he really expect? I really want to know did he really think that the fans would forget Perry and move on with Neal?
