I'm ok, but I'm originally from NY and I will never know how many people I have been aquainted with and their loved ones who were in the WTC and may be injured or lost their lives.
I heard that the firemen of Rescue 4, a station a couple of blocks from the house where I grew up, may have all lost their lives.
It is sad for all of us. We are all victims even if we were not there or do not know anyone there.
All of our lives have been attacked and altered. It could have been any one of us or our loved ones on those planes.
This is a horrible crime and I hope it brings us all together and reminds us to appreciate all that we have each and every day.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.
Remember we can all do our part, donate blood if you can and items for shelters. There are still many people just stranded wherever there planes landed far away from there loved ones and their original destinations.
A smile is such an inexpensive gift we can give to anyone.
You'd be suprised how this little thing might just make
someones day.
