throw out your [ ]. Start the copy IMG SRC="http....gif"

the above worked on the characters which I found at www.mysmilies.com - there are hundreds there

As far as the picture of steve.... find one you like on the internet - not sure all will work but when you find one, right click on it and copy/paste the path here to the message box... then insert IMG SRC= in front of the path and encapsulate the whole path with <>
