Noel, Great question. I have a couple favorites. One is Virginia Lanier. She writes the Bloodhound Series. Another is Susan Conant - a dog lover's mystery writer and of course, Janet Evanovich. She makes me want to ride a Harley and be a bad ass bounty hunter.
My favorite book ever, though was Orchid Beach by Stuart Woods. Another of my fave authors. Tied with that is Watership Down by Richard Adams.
Right now I am deep into "Seven Up" by Evanovich. I am eagerly awaiting Lilian Jackson Braun's "The Cat Who Smelled A Rat" to come out on Paperback. I am a VORACIOUS reader.
By the way, I mailed your cd today.
