Hi!
My favorite book would be the Bible. Everything you need to know about life and how much God loves you is in it. I don't really have a favorite author, because there are so many good books that I have liked throughout the years. I am reading two right now, I know it must sound funny to be reading two at the same time. The first one has been taking me forever to finish because I keep having to put it down, since I have been so busy with my kids being out of school. It's called, "The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant, It's a fictional portrayal of,"Dinah" from the old testament. It's told in Dinah voice, and it reveals the traditions and turmoil of ancient womanhood. The Author phrases her sentences so elequintly(spelling?)that I have added some of her lines in my journal. The other book that I am reading is called,"Secrets of the Vine" by Bruce Wilkinson, It's a Christian book on having an abundant spiritual life.
I would like to leave you with an excerpt from the,"Red Tent" (I pictured Steve as the male in this role, I am sure you will too!)

Those days in the fields were my delight.
He would look at me in wonder, his fingers in my hair.
He made me stand in the shade and then in the sun
to see the different light play across my cheek.
He wept at my beauty.
He sang songs of his family and told me about the beauty
of his mother.
