Noel no one can control their dreams and I for one am not against Neal. Ladies (and gents, let's don't leave out Bob, if he really is a guy) I've been a fan of Steve of course but also of Journey since 78. Steve made Journey famous and I agree that without his voice the "Journey" band is not the same, nor anywhere as good (that's why I don't listen) but let's not dismiss the unmistakable sound that Neal provided with his guitar and Greg Rollie and Jon Cain added with their keyboards (and they all took part in writing the songs). I love Steve's voice but I can honestly say with all my heart that a studio band, like the one he put together for the LOSMT tour just isn't the same and didn't do him justice. And being in a band is so different with how you play the audience. Watch and listen to old Journey, especially the Infinity, Evolution and Departure years (and it just got better after that). My dream is that one day Journey will reunite. I think Steve shares my feelings. Obviously Neal is hurt and maybe has not acted in the best way by bad mouthing Steve, but that doesn't mean he's not talented or that he "hates Steve". Those two have a lot of history and Neal (along with Gregg cause they were both in Santana together) formed Journey and it's his life and his baby. Steve can always sing and Neal can always play guitar, but the magic and I mean magic that was Journey will never be the same until they reunite. I for one am praying for that.
