Sorry but you are asking questions about songs from over 20 years ago. It doesn't matter why, or who about, or are they real people and experiences!!

but I have to smile because me, in that era, I actually wrote a "fan letter" pouring my heart out to Steve and asking that exact question. "Who is Susie? and told him "she's so lucky".

I now ask myself "what's so lucky about her?" Just like "Lovin, Touching, Squeezin" these are songs about girls Steve has been hurt by.
