-=- ... announce the arrival of the savage stud, coat of charred bay shining sleek in the rays of the fading sun. Slender legs, driven by well-toned muscles, churn beneath his compact form, carrying him easily into the area dominated by the mares. Tail flagged behind him, twitching like a banner on the breeze, he releases a squealing cry, so that all know of his presence. Slowing into a bounding trot, he viciously throws his sculptured head, nostrils quivering in excitement at the new scents which ebb around him. Sliding to a halt, he stamps at the soft earth, chocolate eyes scanning the rolling landscape, eager to find new mares. Giving a dissatisfied snort, he shakes himself forcefully, then continues his searching. -=-
