-=- Bubbling with angered energy after the confrontation with Challenger, the sooty bay stud breaks into a flowing trot, slender legs flying out before him. Covering ground swiftly with extended strides, he moves into a rolling canter, keen eyes carefully skimming the ground ahead, searching out shadowed dangers. Labored breaths move through nares wide-spread at the end of a tapered muzzle, fueling his run. Slowing to a prancing trot, he gives his sculpted head a savage toss, dark eyes alight with adrenaline. Pausing at a moonlit stream, bubbling up from the rocks, he dunks his face into the cooling, swift currents, drinking in the refreshing liquid. Sensitive whiskers nearly brushing the ground, he circles, locating a nice muddied spot on the shallow bank. Dropping to his knees with a groan, he throws himself to the side, slender limbs flung into the air as he rolls. Heaving himself to stand firmly on all four hooves, he shakes lazily, moving out of the damp earth to snooze peacefully, ears ever alert for danger. -=-
