*the hot and dry winds bring up sand which sting her eyes and pelt her once grey dapple coat. Now a fine film of red sand covers her, makes her coat sweat. She turns uneasily, unsure if there are preditors that can come and haunt her in her dreams. So far from the woods she becomes skittish and shys at a small tumbleweed that crosses her path...

I am not used to this type of enviroment, *she explains to the others who stare at her with inquisitive eyes* I'm much more used to the woods or in a secluded area....
*she tosses her head, obviously still nervous. Her eyes scan the horizon for the stallion who has herded her here. Her search lies futiless, and she lowers her head and tries to eat the few grass plots that lie at her feet. They have sharp prickly things on them and she tosses her head and backs up, raising her hoof to paw at it.*

I am hungry. I have not eaten in a while...is there any soft grass here...?
