Two-toned femina enters, trotting slowly in, her finely chiseled dial raised as her sharp orbs scan the area for a familiar face. Painted ethereal drops her head, exhausted from all her recent travels. Glad to finally be in Dusty Dunes, Estrella walks slowly over to El Blanco Diablo, touching noses with him and letting out a soft whicker to let him know of her prescence within his harem. Once-glossy hooves, now dry and cracked, drag in the sand as the yearling makes her way over to Diamond in the Rough, nodding once to her, too weary for a longer greeting. Collapsing on the sun-baked sands, Estrella drops her head, sweaty, matted mane plastered to her sleek neck. She watches the goings-on silently, unable to find the strength to play. Luminous orbs show a hint of pain, for she is lonely, so lonely. Her friends are few, and she is unsure if they even remember her. Atlantis had evidently abandoned her. Estrella is certain only of EBD, who she is fairly sure cares about her. And, of course, her dam... Thinking of Banat only brought back painful memories of parting, not once but twice. So she is almost alone, alone in the land of her birth. Caught between foalhood and adulthood, no longer a small filly but not yet a grown mare, the sweet-tempered yearling longs for a friend of the same age. Estrella's eye falls on the only other yearling in the herd, a newcomer, Psyche's Raven. Perhaps she could befriend her...? Hoping to meet the ebon yearling soon, Estrella falls asleep on the dune, barrel rising and falling steadily as she sleeps, regaining her strength.
