The yearling filly inclines her head in greeting and respect to DitR, silky tresses tumbling down her sleek, two-toned neck as she does so. She had grown a lot since she first left her dam's herd to find a future within the Sands of Time, and was almost two years old. The next breeding season she would have a foal of her own. Yet the femme's features were still refined, her frame delicate and her barrel slim. Although her mane had fallen onto her neck and her high-held plume had reached her hocks, they remained somewhat wispy and fine. Estrella had recovered from the long journeys from herd to herd and had filled out so her ribs were once more hidden under the patterned sheen of her smooth coat, and she had regained the proud, graceful arch of her neck. Whickering happily, glad that EBD had canceled the challenge to the death and that the harem was at peace, Estrella half-rears, pawing at the air with her hooves. The painted femina flicks an ear from DitR to EBD, glad of their company. She was happy with the ivory steed and eager to befriend the Alpha effeminate. Estrella respects her even more for choosing not to have a foal right now so she can give all her attention to the herd she leads. As Beta, Estrella only had to assist DitR and take over in her absence, and she was content with that. Unlike DitR, the two-toned she was more friendly and good-natured than dominant, and was always ready to help the harem but not at all costs. Restless, Estrella lowers her tapered dial to graze, swishing her tail and snapping it against her gleaming haunches to be rid of the flies. Taking a step or two away from the other equines but close enough to be comforted by their nearness, the yearling browses over the lush green blades, clipping a select few short with her strong alabaster dentures.
