Subject: 40 yr old wishes to return to pointe.

Hi.

I am now 40 yrs old, but I was into ballet very heavily from the age of 13 till about 17-18 yrs old. Was intermediate/beg. advanced level and en pointe. I danced off and on in the following years, but only taking a class here and there.

Question: I would like to return to ballet and work myself back up to en pointe.

Can a 40 yr old woman do this safely?

I would also like to find a pas de deux class (which never got to take while in Ballet in my teens). Is this also possible to do at my age?
I am still of very slender stature and weight (about 90-93 lbs).

Thanks!

Shipper
