At least S Club 7, St W's School Choir, FA and The Smurfs all KNEW that their existence was based on novelty factor and that people bought their records because:
a) they hadn't discovered good music yet
b) they were drunk and consequently not in their right mind
c) they were trying to give off the idea of having charisma (see also: wearing T shirts with childrens TV shows on and saying you like the Teletubbies).

Terrorvision genuinely believed they were an important band. Oh well, who cares? They've split up now and that's what matters.
