best get me tickets soon then. i actually kinda like finch, but to be honest they're a bit too manufactured sounding for me, even if they actually aren't. if you see what i mean. they kinda remind me of hundred reasons, in that they have some pretty good songs, but they just sound too clean and watered down for success.

(for the record, i've liked hundred reasons for a long time, but i'm of the opinion that the older, cheaply produced eps are far superior to the much poppier, overproduced album. to see what i mean, compare cerebra off the first ep to pretty much anything on the album.)

*rant over*

and as i said, the only reason i actually went to finch was from autumn to ashes, who were about six million times better than either of the other bands (coheed and cambria were on second, and pretty much sucked). i've been a FATA fan for ages, and this was their first time in europe (i think - definitely since i've been listening to them) and even with a painfully short 20min set and rather confused audience, they were truly amazing. so, er, go listen to from autumn to ashes!

and finally (in the interests of keeping this thread going for as long as possible, thereby making myself feel important), what's your favourite leeds band? or leedsish, not to be too picky. i'd go for nathaniel green, beecher (who're actually from manchester, but hey), send more paramedics and ...robots. off the top of my head.

oh, and merry christmas to all!
