i never really understood the no casual sex thing either, couldn't see how it fit in with the no drugs thing.

and saintly, yeah, at a lot of hardcore gigs you'll find people with x's tattooed on them looking disapprovingly at anyone who's smoking or drinking. it's an identity thing i suppose.

no, i don't have any straight edge tattoos, and nor do i ever plan to get any. i'm actually not a big fan of the straight edge "movement", a lot of people seem to think it makes them better than others, which is just silly. most of my friends drink and smoke, i respect and like them for the people they are, not what they choose to drink. and that works both ways.

this made me laugh, on the subject.
