Er... no.

Organisations have procedures. Spiders is a family-run business (sometimes it seems, in the New Jersey tradition). Pete is at the door all night and he has the last word. I don't think he likes to exercise it too often though. That's what he pays a manager (Bridget) to do. I've heard it said that he's likely to be more receptive to a phone call during office hours (before noon during the weekdays I think, but I may be wrong) than to a customer complaining during opening hours. I think it's a question of perception. At the club you're a kid dressed up for a night out and probably drunk. Over the phone during the day, as long as you're polite and articulate, and have a good point, you have more credibility. Also, the fact that you took the trouble to phone a couple of days later implies that it's not just a trivial matter (at least to you). Solicitor's letters also get attention, but don't expect to get in the following weekend.

Take note that these are suggestions as to how to present a strongly felt complaint in the best manner. I make no guarantee as to how your complaint will be received, and this isn't a recommendation to flood the club with daytime calls.
