Shame.

That Golgith had found her – and where one blue went, another would surely follow! So she would have to think up another trick to make them do – these boys were more eager to please than a stupid canine! The green crooned back at her pursuers, laughingly mocking them as she continued to fly in the clouds.

With a sudden beat of her wings, Grenith shot upwards, out of the clouds, into a part of the sky where the sun warmed her hide, and soothed her muscles. This was the realm of the dragon! Why had she never done this before, except in flights?

Any blue who had ever flown Grenith before would have known what to expect next – her flight strategy was pretty much always the same every time she went into heat. But these two had never flown her, and neither had they been in any of her flights!

With a sudden movement, she dropped below the clouds, appearing to disappear completely into the thin air. But once under the thick white blanket, she dipped still lower, her warble floating back to the blues as she shot back up again.

Up and down, up and down…above the clouds and below them…could these blues follow her at the rate she was going?

A rich chuckle left G’rein as he looked at the blue riders with ultimate disdain. Were they so deluded they thought they could catch him that easily? Then they were stupid!

((Um…Pup…can the posts get a mite longer? Not to be horrible…but G’rein is one of the charries that comes naturally to me when it comes to writing, and I have higher standards for him…))
