Author: T'yin and Viouth
Subject: Only you are the light among the dead...
In reply to: J'neli and Peth 's message, "...for two at last are one..." on 20:03:09 04/17/03 Thu

Pale green eyes squeeze shut tightly as T'yin comes to, not wanting to move, feeling so safe and secure in the grasp of his... dare he think it?... lover. Viouth's satiated croon nearby causes her lifemate to open one eye slightly, at first seeing nothing past his own shaggy blonde hair and J'neli's reassuring face. 'Viouth?' The greenrider's mental tone is rather shaken. 'Did that really happen?' Wondering, T'yin reaches up to touch J'neli's cheek gently, a soft smile spreading across his lips as he realizes that this is reality, not just a dream. It happened, rider mine. And will again, if I have anything to say about it. Viouth's sleepily smug reply elicits another smile from her lifemate, who rests his head against the bluerider's shoulder and closes his eyes again, wanting to stay in this moment forever.

He must have dozed again, because Viouth's grumble startles him. "Huh?" he mumbles, half-rolling onto his side (flushing slightly when he realizes he's been draped loosely over J'neli) and propping himself up on his elbow. We're going to need to start weyrling training soon, rider dearest, the green informs her human in a soft, regretful tone from her position curled next to Peth. "Shards, I had... forgotten." T'yin turns to look at the bluerider next to him and can't help but cheer up, at least a little. This time, there would be someone for him when the hard work was done.

"J'neli... the weyrlings..." Suddenly finding it hard to speak, the blonde flushes slightly and gestures with his free hand towards the Barracks. Don't start your awkwardness, young man, Viouth rumbled imperially. You two couldn't get any closer if you tried, and I'm sure you will anyway. Either way... you can walk. I'm not moving - the sun is nice and Peth is nicer. This time, the athletic rider laughs, flicking a strand of sandy blonde hair from his eyes and noticing that it's paler than before. 'The sun is bleaching my hair,' he informs his green randomly, earning him a mental laugh. After a moment of avidly watching J'neli, T'yin abruptly scrambles to his feet, brushing off his clothing and trying to digest the recent flight in all its glorious entirety.
