My Great-grandfather was John Hamilton (Wife - Nancy) both are buried at Milton Cemetery (Florida). My mother's mom (my grandmother) was named Sudie Mae (Burke) Tucker. Her mother (my Great-grandmother) was named Maggie Viola Burke. I do not know her maiden name. My grandmother was one of thirteen children (all born in Alabama). My grandfather (Luther Emerson Tucker, Sr.) was also born in Alabama. I'm trying to find my Cherokee heritage. After the deaths of my grandparents and parents, I learned of a family reunion (grandmother's side)that was to include Cherokee members of the family, but to knowledge this did not happen.
