Date Posted: 955702068PDT Th white seabass have been off and on at Catalina for a few weeks now. Several Guys picked up fish this week. "Triggerfish" posted at Allcoast Private boater's with a 20 lb fish taken at Cat. "Made about two scoops of squid near Eagle Reef. Hit all the usual places from the Isthmus on the front to Cat Harbor on the back for about ¾ limits of calicos to #3..., one sheephead, a handful of misc. junk, and one chunky #20 WSB caught by the croaker master himself, Full Rack". (also known as Kid Creole) Nice Pic! Freddie H again at Allcoast posted on thursday on Apr-13-00 the yellows went off on the back side between 9:00 and Noon: "Steady yellowtail bite beginning around 9:30 am through noon from Salta Verde to Silver Canyon.......They want the live stuff. Fish running 12 to 18 lbs" With the Halibut slowing down in the bay it looks like Cats the place to fish. We''l be there Saturday and I'll post a report.
